What this is

BrowserCalcHub is a collection of 209 free calculators covering personal finance, health and fitness, mathematics and everyday practical questions. Every calculation runs in your browser — there is no backend, and no account is required.

How the calculations are built

Each calculator is a small declarative definition: a list of inputs and a function that turns them into a result. A shared engine builds the form, runs the calculation as you type, and renders the output. Every formula is implemented from standard published sources — time-value-of-money equations, amortization schedules, the Mifflin-St Jeor and Harris-Benedict equations, the US Navy circumference method, the CKD-EPI equation, standard statistical distributions, and ordinary geometry and unit-conversion factors.

Editorial approach

20 calculators carry in-depth written guides covering the underlying method, its limits and common misconceptions. The remaining 189 carry reference material generated from the calculator's own definition: a description of every input, the formula in use, and a worked example produced by actually running the calculation. We are steadily replacing the generated pages with written ones.

Figures that change over time

Tax bands, contribution limits, statutory rates and exemption amounts are exposed as editable inputs rather than hard-coded constants, and finance calculators display the jurisdiction and basis year alongside the result. Always confirm against the official source linked on each page before relying on a figure.

Accuracy and limits

Results are estimates. Financial calculators ignore fees, taxes and rate changes unless you enter them. Health calculators are screening tools, not diagnoses. Construction calculators do not replace local building codes. When a decision matters, check the numbers with a qualified professional.

Corrections

If you find an error in a formula, an out-of-date statutory figure, or a result you believe is wrong, we want to know. Accuracy reports are treated as the highest priority.

Privacy

Values you enter are never transmitted. Calculations happen entirely on your device. This site currently loads no advertising, analytics or third-party scripts of any kind.
