Terms of Use

Estimates, not advice

These calculators produce estimates for general information. They are not financial, tax, legal, medical or engineering advice and create no professional relationship. Decisions with real consequences should be checked with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

Accuracy and statutory figures

The formulas used are standard and widely published, and every calculator is tested, but no warranty is given that a result is correct, current or fit for a particular purpose.

Tax bands, contribution limits, exemption amounts, statutory rates and building-code values change regularly and differ by jurisdiction. Where these appear they are editable inputs, and the displayed defaults may be out of date. It is your responsibility to verify them against the official source for your jurisdiction and tax year before relying on any figure.

Health calculators

Body composition, calorie, pregnancy, kidney function and blood alcohol calculators are screening and estimation tools only. They cannot diagnose anything. Never use the blood alcohol calculator to decide whether it is safe or legal to drive.

Limitation of liability

This software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of these calculators or reliance on their output.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators for personal and commercial purposes. You may not present the results as certified professional advice, and you may not remove attribution from redistributed copies of the source.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
